Pressing Instructions – Apply DTF & UV DTF Transfers the Right Way 🎯
To get the best results from your custom gang sheets, it's essential to follow the proper application process. Whether you're using DTF (Direct-to-Film) or UV DTF transfers, DTF Chivo provides the tools — you bring the heat (or not!).
These instructions apply to all custom prints purchased through:
🔥 DTF Pressing Instructions (For Fabric Transfers)
Recommended For:
✔️ T-shirts (cotton, polyester, blends)
✔️ Hoodies, tote bags, apparel, and textiles
📌 Steps:

Pre-Press the Garment
-
Heat for 5 seconds to remove wrinkles and moisture

Place the DTF Transfer
-
Design facing up
-
Film side up on your desired location
-

Set Your Heat Press
-
Temperature: 315°F (157°C)
-
Time: 10–15 seconds
-
Pressure: Medium to High
-
-
Peel the Film
-
✅ Peel Hot for matte finish
-
✅ Peel Cold for extra smooth results
-
-
Optional Final Press
-
Cover with parchment paper or Teflon
-
Press for 5 more seconds to lock in the print

⚠️ Tips:

Avoid scorching the fabric

Always test one item first when using new materials
✨ UV DTF Application Instructions (For Hard Surfaces)
Recommended For:
✔️ Tumblers, mugs, glass, acrylic, wood, plastic, metal, and more
📌 Steps:

Clean the Surface
-
Use rubbing alcohol or glass cleaner

Ensure it's dry and dust-free
-

Cut & Position Your Decal
-
Cut around your UV DTF design
-
Leave the transfer film intact
-

Peel & Stick
-
Carefully peel the backing off
-
Stick the transfer (design side down) to the clean surface

Press Firmly
-
Use a squeegee, scraper, or credit card
-
Smooth from center outwards to avoid bubbles

Peel the Clear Film
-
Slowly peel off the clear top film
-
Your decal should now be fully applied!

⚠️ Tips:
-
Do not wash the item for 24 hours
-
UV DTF transfers are waterproof, scratch-resistant, and long-lasting
-
Great for indoor and outdoor use
